Yes, when I was like 12 I was surfing with my coach and someone had reported a shark in the water, so my coach pushed me in on a wave while he swam quickly, we got in perfectly safe, and no one on the beach was reportedly hurt, but we figured out later we were really close to not one shark, but three Blacktip sharks

    4. Was surfing on some monster waves and ended up falling. I hit my head on some rocks and my memory stops there. I wake up in an ambulance and people are moving frantically around me giving me meds and getting my blood pressure etc. The pain was so bad I kept telling the EMTs just knock me out just knock me out. Anyways, I ended up needing a bunch of staples, painkillers after and was monitored for a week and a half before being released. It was one heck of a month and I still experience complications to this day.

  3. Growing up in Orange County I’ve seen a lot of bad surfing accidents. It really is a dangerous sport even if you’re experienced.
