The woman came back to thank them for all they had done. She recovered remarkably fast.
Her husband is the man that lost his life.
The lifeguards did their best and that is all that matters, and at least one of the people survived.
I remember this episode, super sad. 2 members of the same family. So sad. ? these men are amazing.
Not only two people in the same family, it was a wife and her husband, the wife’s family was watching on the beach if I remember correctly. They got her back, but they lost her husband…

i watched this video not too long ago, and i remember Jethro being so upset bc he was sitting in the tower helpless. i hate to think that lifeguards can feel like they could’ve done more, even tho they try their best.
