Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. I have a question, did it feel weird the first time anyone of you guys rescued someone and your face was close to someone else’s bottom? I think at first if I was a lifeguard I Would feel maybe slightly uncomfortable for like a split second but when you think of the life saving you are all doing it doesn’t really matter in the long run, just was curious

My heart broke when Bacon nearly broke his leg trying to save that girl. I don’t think people realise exactly how dangerous and crucial the lifeguards job really is

That rock rescue, while he’s holding the young girl up on the rocks. Make that a shadow and put it on a shirt, Bondi Rescue! It was amazing to see him just lift her up like that!
Screamed and what?…
They are all great rescues, but the rescues involving the children would have to bet the most emotional. I can never comprehend how parents don’t supervise their children on the beach, don’t have them swimming between the flags and set limits as to how far they can go out. My son got two warnings once for ignoring my instruction to not go out any deeper than his waist and was given 15 minute time outs each time. The third time he ignored me, we packed up and went home. He never did it again.
