    1. Lifeguards wear blue while Livesavers wear red and yellow
      Life savers are volunteers while lifeguards are employed by the council

    2. @FrogLover I see. I’m a lifeguard myself and here in Portugal all lifeguards, employed or volunteers, wear a yellow shirt and reddish orange shorts.

  2. The people dismissing the possibility of a tsunami shocked me. “I’m not afraid”?? Better safe than sorry, and have you SEEN what happens when people don’t have enough warning to escape a tsunami? I’d rather lose a day of my vacation for nothing on a good day than risk it on a bad day and die.
