what’s the difference between the red and yellow lifeguards and the blue lifeguards?
Lifeguards wear blue while Livesavers wear red and yellow
Life savers are volunteers while lifeguards are employed by the council
@FrogLover I see. I’m a lifeguard myself and here in Portugal all lifeguards, employed or volunteers, wear a yellow shirt and reddish orange shorts.

The people dismissing the possibility of a tsunami shocked me. “I’m not afraid”?? Better safe than sorry, and have you SEEN what happens when people don’t have enough warning to escape a tsunami? I’d rather lose a day of my vacation for nothing on a good day than risk it on a bad day and die.
Better to have your day at the beach ruined, than to have a day at the beach ruin your life. ?
