Bondi, the hottest beach on the planet

http://natgeotv.com.au

With sharks in the water, thieves on land, broken bones, overdoses, fights and mass rescues, the lifeguards of Bondi Beach have their hands full watching over the millions of tourists and locals who flock to the area each year.

Bondi Rescue shows that while having an office at the beach can certainly have its perks, these rugged Australian lifeguards risk it all patrolling from sunrise to sundown while keeping beachgoers safe. Whether it is launching a mass ocean rescue effort, preparing for a racial riot or even playing Santa Claus on Christmas, these lifeguards have a work hard, play hard attitude that makes a visit to Bondi a once in a lifetime experience.

Filled with life-and-death rescues, shark sightings, and a few humorous encounters with some over zealous party-goers, each episode delivers a shot of drama and heart-pumping adrenaline. With rescue board cameras, helicopter footage and behind the scenes access, get side-by-side the lifeguards as they put themselves in danger to help save others.

  1. @outlandftw2 Yeah and I live in Southern California with all the wealthy hot people and the nice beaches, and they’re all empty assholes just like you.

  2. im moving to australia in a few months for a year or two… can somebody tell me how dangerous it is to swim in australian beaches, ya know with all the killer jelly fish and what not!! thanks 🙂

  3. @Gerard24689 depends on the beach and what season. i live in perth on the west coast and i have been stung by a jellyfish once in my lifetime.. although i know some places in qld have to close off beaches due to box jellyfish during some stages of the year.

  4. @Gerard24689 ps. this is national geographic.. so of course its over exaggerated and dramatised, its really not that dangerous haha

  5. damn, we sent those aussies there in the victorian times cos they were criminals. now they’re frikin richer than we are :/ damn it im moving to australia.

  6. I’ve been to Bondi, January 1995, and the beach was loaded. Only two women on the entire beach had a top on- the rest topless. I’m wondering when that changed because then no one had them. Moreover, many girls were really tall. I’m 6′ 7″ myself so that was great to see. I’m told that many international models live there so that could be the reason. The recent swimsuit issue of SI with Bondi as the location was bogus, I thought, as I knew it is/was a topless beach.

  7. You left out the golden Central Coast, Copacabana, Avoca, Terrigal, mc masters beach etc also Cronulla with Sandshoes, the Island, the Patch, point, voodoo, suck rock, marys reef, the alley, the wall, and the so called shelf the bra boys call ours lol

  8. no theyre not, their living costs are through the roof compared to other countries, especially the U.S. some of them admit they didnt even realize their living costs were ripping them off until they visited other countries and checked out the priced of every day items in the stores. So they can make $25 an hour but a loaf of bread will cost $12. You see?

  9. Miami is the sexiest beach on the planet for sure! And Ive traveled pretty much everywhere without going into too much detail because this is youtube not the travel channel/autobiography lol also Ibiza, Cancun, Bora bora is quite beautiful, Bahamas are beautiful and Aruba is quite nice as well

The danger is in becoming so seduced by the lexiconic that we became lexiphanes. There’s no excuse for indulging in the bombastic at any time, of course.
