Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Tanning Tutorial

  1. Libbie Trandos on 11/01/2017 at 6:27 am

can the Wash off be use when swimming in a pool or the ocean???

    • Bondi Sands on 01/02/2017 at 3:15 am

We would not recommend it xo

  2. Molly Grogan on 25/01/2017 at 4:39 am

Any other Molly tips for keeping tan off sheets?? I can’t stand any sort of powder. I would have a panic attack.?

    • Bondi Sands on 27/03/2017 at 3:15 am

Powder is the only thing we know of! Otherwise try Liquid Gold. There is no transfer with this product xo

    • Immyxo on 20/10/2017 at 7:10 pm

Wash it off before you go to bed so tan 6-8 hours before you get into bed x

  3. Gabrielle Bilow on 04/02/2017 at 3:31 pm

Do you recommend younger teens to use this product

    • Bondi Sands on 27/03/2017 at 3:14 am

We would recommend starting out with our Gradual products. This one is a little too much for beginners xo

  4. Jamielee Strang on 17/03/2017 at 12:45 am

Would applying 2 layers result in a darker colour like with the bondi sands dark? Just bought ultra dark today and going to do my tan soon 🙂

    • Bondi Sands on 27/03/2017 at 3:14 am

      Yes it sure would xo

  5. Kelly Brewster on 23/03/2017 at 8:45 pm

Hey, i use the gradual tanning milk and i love it i have recently purchased the ultra dark product. I am going out Saturday night with my girls and i am going to be using it.
Just wanted to know if its ok to exfoliate and tan on the night before and go sleep with it on?
And also does it matter if i only exfoliate once?

    • Bondi Sands on 27/03/2017 at 3:14 am

Hey there! Absolutely this is OK! Everything you said is perfect xo

  6. Janine Buksh on 26/03/2017 at 3:18 am

will tan come off if swimming

    • Bondi Sands on 27/03/2017 at 3:13 am

Once the colour guide is washed off you are good to go swimming. The tan should last roughly 5 – 7 days. Pat yourself dry after swimming and moisturise daily xo

  7. Karly B on 29/03/2017 at 10:52 pm

how long should you leave the tan on your face for?

    • Bondi Sands on 11/04/2017 at 1:41 am

The same time, just mix it with a small amount of moisturiser xo

  8. Angela Legaz on 31/03/2017 at 6:02 am

I dont have the gloves so what do i use

    • Bondi Sands on 11/04/2017 at 1:40 am

You can use your hands, just wash them with a small amount of toothpaste after you apply so nothing stains. You dont want orange hands!

    • Meg Crawford on 13/01/2018 at 3:27 am

When I lost my glove I used a sock ?

  9. Arianna571 on 10/04/2017 at 5:16 pm

Never heard of this product think I will try it love the video great personality

  10. Gracie Lyons on 12/04/2017 at 12:10 am

Does it transfer onto sheets etc?

    • Bondi Sands on 01/05/2017 at 1:45 am

With a colour guide on your skin while it develops, you may get a little bit of transfer. We recommend using baby powder before going to bed (if you are sleeping in your tan). Sprinkle a little bit over your skin to help with the transfer. Once the colour guide is washed off nothing with transfer xo

  11. Emma Downie on 29/04/2017 at 5:47 am

Mine seems to go a bit more orange/ warm toned than I would like it to. Any tips are appreciated 🙂

    • Bondi Sands on 01/05/2017 at 1:44 am

The colour may not be great for your skin tone perhaps. Maybe try a lighter shade? Have you tried Dark before? xo

    • Emma Downie on 30/05/2017 at 6:55 am

Bondi Sands thanks I recently switched to just the dark and I’ve found it much better for my skin colour x

  12. Sharnie Clay on 30/04/2017 at 7:23 am

I love the colour of this tan and it looks amazing I just can’t wash it off as easy I exfoliate with a glove and scrub it off but it doesn’t come off until 2 weeks

  13. Steph M on 09/05/2017 at 8:31 am

I have tried Ultra Dark a few times now after being in love with the Dark one. However, after I wash it off it’s not dark enough so I then apply a second layer. I find this then goes very scaly and patchy even when I moisturise! This doesn’t happen when I use the Dark one? What am I doing wrong?

    • Bondi Sands on 30/05/2017 at 5:06 am

Hey there, you are not doing anything wrong. It just sounds like this product is not for you. That’s OK! It is just about finding the best product for you xo

  14. Fran Spivack Russo on 11/06/2017 at 7:37 am

hi, do you exfoliate after putting the Tanner on or wait a few days?

    • Bondi Sands on 16/06/2017 at 12:41 am

Exfoliate before hand so your skin is fresh and like a blank canvas – then tan xo

  15. Emma Rose Smith on 11/06/2017 at 11:39 am

I’ve just purchased this to try out, I already love your dark foam, liquid gold and recently tried the tan remover! All of them are top notch so I have high hopes for this one ?

    • Bondi Sands on 16/06/2017 at 12:40 am

Happy Tanning! Thank you for the feedback xx

  16. smhrachel on 19/06/2017 at 5:48 pm

Does the tan get any darker while it sits on your skin? I just used the shade dark and was wondering if I should reapply after an hour or so or if it will darken on its own.

    • selenasperf on 25/06/2017 at 12:17 pm

smhrachel i had the same question! did it go darker? 🙂

    • Bondi Sands on 17/07/2017 at 11:46 pm

It absolutely does. So the longer you leave it on and the amount you have on will change the outcome xo

  17. donny DY on 25/06/2017 at 11:29 am

    just go direktly to 4:00

  18. Carly Emerson on 27/06/2017 at 8:32 pm

Hi can you tan with this tan on?

    • Bondi Sands on 17/07/2017 at 11:46 pm

      Sun tan you mean? Yes!

  19. Reece Zalesky on 10/07/2017 at 6:21 pm

Is it weird that I’m a bloke and I use this

    • Bondi Sands on 17/07/2017 at 11:46 pm

      Nope! Tanning is for everyone!

  20. Paula on 14/07/2017 at 4:44 pm

Hi;) can I leave my bondi sands in the shade dark for more than 6 hours? Because I want to put this for night and I’m sleep 8 hours

    • frannie duck on 16/07/2017 at 11:18 am

Paula yep! Most people do it overnight 🙂

    • Bondi Sands on 17/07/2017 at 11:45 pm

      Absolutely you can xo

    • Paula on 27/07/2017 at 1:57 pm

      Thanks ?

  21. kellsey litchfield on 19/07/2017 at 8:28 am

Any tips to avoid the product fading off from the back of the knees? X

    • Chicken Soup on 06/03/2018 at 1:09 pm

kellsey litchfield make sure you moisturise a lot but it can be hard to avoid because of like the heat and sweat x

  22. Stephen Masterson on 21/07/2017 at 6:11 pm

Hi Whats the best way to tan the inside of your elbows, every time i tan here i always end up with a white v shape Thanks Donna

    • Bondi Sands on 24/07/2017 at 5:26 am

Moisturise them first and then with the excess from your tanning mitt, just simply pat over the top xo

  23. Erina Rose on 01/08/2017 at 1:07 pm

I’ve just applied it and spent a long time trying to get it to blend out and it doesn’t look as blended as other products I’ve used so I’m freaking out a little.. should I wash it off? I blended at it as hard as I could and followed her application method

    • Bondi Sands on 03/08/2017 at 4:36 am

This is just the colour guide, so it should wash off even. How did you go? xx

    • Erina Rose on 04/08/2017 at 1:12 pm

Bondi Sands it came out fine, probably just need to get used to it and buy a new mitt ?

  24. Andrea Garcia on 21/08/2017 at 6:03 pm

Does the applicator come together with each foam? excuse me for my english! thank you?

    • Bondi Sands on 23/08/2017 at 3:21 am

You need to buy the tanning mitt separately xo

  25. maddie moncada on 26/08/2017 at 9:29 pm

did anyone else’s tan go onto their skin greenish or was it just me?!

    • Immyxo on 20/10/2017 at 7:11 pm

      maddie moncada sometimes x

    • Idontknowausername on 20/10/2017 at 8:59 pm

It’s just the color guide don it worry it will wash off!

    • Carlees Ryder on 03/03/2018 at 10:16 am

maddie moncada wash your tanning mitt and it won’t do that anymore

  26. Lobke Fierens on 29/10/2017 at 9:22 pm

what do you do when you haven’t rubbed it the right way and you have darker spots, can you fix it? love your products btw!

  27. Hayley Randall on 11/01/2018 at 2:43 am

I don’t know if it’s just the color of the video, but my mousse is straight up GREEN. Like dark, hunter green. Is my bottle okay? I just applied. ?

    • Shannon Field on 01/02/2018 at 11:32 pm

I’ve just applied mine and it’s dark green please tell me you’re turned out okay ?

  28. Chicken Soup on 06/03/2018 at 1:04 pm

How many layers would you recommend for a super dark tan for pale skin as one layer isn’t dark enough for me!??

  29. Alannah W on 15/03/2018 at 5:58 am

Hi! Can I use dark foam over liquid gold? X
