  1. The cost is ridiculous, only rich ppl can afford to surf there. its a bloody joke , over 100 an hour in melbourne, costs more than skiing for a whole day………….

  2. I like that it’s not a straight copy from Melbs. Why would surfers up north want to come to sunny, cold, hot, freezing temperamental Melbourne, when they could just go to Sydney. Having the waves different (Although not overly different) attracts surfers to what they would prefer at the time. Well done URBNSURF, wish I could surf there more often.

  3. Great review Kale mate, joined you in the Feb Melb sessions and looking forward to working on the advice in my newly available local wave pool here in Syd. It was actually quite inspiring to see how much everyone was getting from your coaching-keep it up man, you are working in the positive

  4. Thanks great review! I’ve surfed Melbs a few times and I’m pleased to have a local version (no need to hire a board like I do in Melbs). Good summary of all the modes. 1st session is booked!

  5. It definitely looks smaller and weaker than the Melbourne surf pool. Will be interested to check it out. Good advice about board choice, that can be make or break for a good session. Definitely looks like you need a board that can generate speed but also rip in the pockets
