Someone didn’t like this Bondi mural about refugees, so they painted over it | ABC News
When Sydney artist Luke Cornish painted a mural at Bondi Beach, he never expected to spark a debate about free speech. The controversial painting of Border Force officers with the phrase :Not Welcome to Bondi” was his commentary on the treatment of asylum seekers. Some locals were offended and wanted it gone. Council wanted it to stay, but in the end a vandal had the final say.
