He’s been in Sydney filming of the seventh season of The Voice Australia.And on Friday, Joe Jonas took time out from his busy schedule to learn the basics of surfing at Bondi Beach.But the 28-year-old learned that balancing on a surfboard is harder than it looks, as he was seen falling into the water while trying to catch a wave.Dressed in a black wetsuit with a blue rash vest, Joe looked momentarily surprised he fell off his board.He was joined by a friend for the surf lesson, and the pair were being coached by instructors from Bondi’s Let’s Go Surfing.While it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the DNCE singer during his $110 session, he was seen walking out of the ocean with a smile on his face.Joe’s return Down Under comes after he recently celebrated fiancée Sophie Turner’s 22nd birthday in New York City.Pictured with his three brothers – Kevin, Nick, and Frankie – and his sister-in-law Danielle, Joe paid tribute to the Game Of Thrones actress on Instagram.’Happy birthday @sophiet.You’re super cool! We all think so!’ Joe’s father Kevin Sr.recently told PEOPLE magazine that he already sees Sophie as his daughter-in-law.’We love the way that Joe loves her and the way that she loves him,’ he said.’We’re a blessed family to have her family as our future daughter-in-law – and in our minds, (she’s) already a daughter-in-law!’ Joe is currently in Australia filming The Voice Australia alongside Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland and Boy George.
