“If you can’t swim don’t go swimming” – we all get that it doesn’t need to be repeated. If you read articles about this story, this man got caught up in a rip tide. He wasnt trying to go swimming in deep water at all. He had been in Australia for a while before this happened, when getting his education and his dream was to bring his family to live in Australia. It’s likely he felt he knew his limitations not being able to swim and stuck in the shallows for quick dips but things happen (like rip tides).

But I don’t understand why you would go into the sea, especially somewhere known to be dangerous, if you can’t swim. It’s sheer madness. It’s so so sad that this man lost his life when he shouldn’t have been in the water even. Desperately sad
People can’t respect privacy, crowing around someone who needs help and trying to poke thier nose in the situation is disgusting
