  1. Spinals are one of the biggest dangers at a surf beach like Bondi and a common thing the lifeguards have to deal with. The surf itself adds to the risk. Be careful out there swimmers! Other scary spinal accidents at the beach ?-

    1. It’s very valid question, considering he had hit his head. He could’ve got a bleed on his brain or a concussion, which can cause memory loss or confusion. If you get an ambulance because you’ve got hit in the head, they’ll ask you that, and a few other questions that may seem a little dumb or redundant, like “what day is it today?” or “ How old are you?”, “ What year is it?” , “ what’s the date?”

    2. @Dickweed McGee I know i just meant it was funny because instead of replying where he was he said yes. It was funny. Thanks for the first aid lesson ?

  2. As someone who blew out her L3L4L5…couldn’t walk for a few days w/o pain & got talked into going to chiropractor my friend worked for…he took xrays that didn’t show anything so proceeded to manipulate my back…3x a wk…after wk 2 I was noticing my knees buckling a tad everytime I turned head or raised arms…then when I turned head & raised arm at same time to say hey to someone walking in door…down I went. Was taken to ER & had MRI which not only showed the 3 blown discs but also the pulling of spinal cord away from spinal column bc of the blown matter pressing on it…tearing it away. I was in surgery the next day. Yep. Was fine up until I had a 96lb treelimb fall on my head and body about 15yrs later…that almost killed me. Now I’ve got a hiccup in my giddy up
