Marathon legend Robert De Castella wins Sydney’s City to Surf (1977)
Before he was a marathon legend in Australia, Robert De Castella was the very happy winner of the 1977 City to Surf. The ABC captured some of the colour and drama of the race on 1 August, 1977.
