Should the bikini be banned? (1961)
In the early years of Four Corners, there used to be a habitual ‘Voice of the People’ section wherein a reporter – typically Keith Smith, who used to be widely recognized for his skill to speak to on the subject of somebody – went out into the streets to invite common Australians a specific query.
In this section from September 30th, 1961, Keith asks the denizens of Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach whether or not they assume the bikini will have to be banned. At that point, there have been rules about how skimpy the arguable bikini go well with may well be, and oceanfront inspectors roved the sands to put in force the code.
