Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.

In ‘Bondi Rescue’ the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxy, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

  3. no one saying “middle eastern gangs”?… ahem… didn’t a lifeguard get attacked and when gangs responsible were responded to they claimed racism?… well those gang members are still around, they’ve just silenced us with bullshit laws… call it how it is.

  5. I’m more interested in the back story of how this guy just happen to be in a possition to get his ass kicked. There’s always to sides to a story, why do video and the news media never depict the back story. I mean, some people have an aligator mouth and on occasions bite off more than they can chew.

  11. I remember going into work one day and 3 feet outside my office a guy shot his girlfriend through the back of her head then shot himself through his mouth. That was blood. She survived, he didn’t….karma…It wasn’t gang violence. The best thing about gang violence is that innocent people are usually spared, not always, but never intended victims. Rest easy knowing that.
