where we live – offshore, but heading back into Sydney

a light beer at the end of a morning’s whale watching… (it really was a light beer… that’s all that was in the fridge!).

We pottled South to Bondi beach, and sailed around for a bit.. as ever, just when you’re on the cusp of giving up hope, out popped two whales!

They were pretty large ones, and we followed them for about 40mins – heading further offshore than we realised at the time! – this video was taken on the 1hr-ish sail back into the heads, and into the harbour… conditions were just about perfect – so all in all a fantastic day!
