IT’S TARPON SEASON! YOU CAN TELL BY THE SHARKS! THEY FOLLOW THE TARPON SCHOOLS UP THE GULF COAST.
GULF BEACHES ARE LOADED THIS TIME OF YEAR, AND THEY ARE GREATLY CONCENTRATED IN UPPER TAMPA BAY, AS THE TARPON BOTTLE NECK THERE AND BULL SHARKS AND HAMMERS FEAST.
SKYWAY BRIDGE IS A SCARY PLACE AS BIG SHARKS FOLLOW SHIPS FROM THEIR MORRAGE INTO TAMPA PORTS.
HELTER SKELTER…A 3 TO 5 POUND CREVALLE JACK IS EXCELLENT TARPON BAIT AND PERHAPS ONE OF THOSE SHARKS.
LOOK AT IT THIS WAY, GULF WATERS ARE USUALLY CLEAR, AS THIS VID. SHOWS, GO TO DAYTONA, OR OTHER UPPER PINNESULA EAST COAST BEACHES AND THE WATER IS TURBID, AND THE SAND SHARKS ANKLE NIBBLES NEVER DISAPPOINT!

    Hammerheads are not aggressive sharks!
