My older brother once got stung on his arm so all his lymph nodes in his armpit swelled up like crazy and he had to sit on the beach for three hours with his arm in the air. He’s not been in the ocean since…xD

SeattleSleeper there not that painful by there self , but if you get more then three it starts to feel like it’s killing you
I remember watching this when I got a blue bottle sting. In fact it was 3 hours ago and I was screaming in pain. Luckily my Nana lives like 2 minutes away from the beach and we could walk there.
got stung first time today, had one stuck on my back for about 20 seconds before i managed to rip it off with my hands ended up stinging my hands in the process, pain wasn’t that bad since it was just 1 but i can imagine a swarm of them would be horrible.

the pain of the sting isnt even the worst part. the sting will get itchy and i mean REALLY itchy

I got stung by a blue bottle like 2 years ago in Nelson’s bay and I remember it wrapping around my leg and I started screaming and crying and I pulled it off and I went back to shore and my parents took me to the lifeguards and I started going dizzy and I just vomited everywhere and the lifeguards said they had treated people before with blue bottle stings but said mine was the worse case and I had to stand under a hot shower because it reduced the amount of toxins spread around your body. It was the worst pain ever and I had scarring for about a 1 year and that never happens

My anxiety would go through the roof if I had gotten attack by mass of bluebottles. It’s why I don’t often go swimming in the ocean: who knows what comes close to the beach.

I got stung by two blue bottles on each arm took 2 minutes to pull them off but this video is making it look like its “severe” IT IS NOT!!!!!

I got stung once. Hurt like buggery, my family didn’t know what to do they just kept trying to get me to drink more pina coladas
I got stung by one in 4 areas, because I didn’t know what it was, so I put my hand down there where it got me on my bum cheek. And it feels like being pinched as hard as someone can pinch you.
All you do is have a hot shower has hot as you can, for 10 minutes.
Then put ice on it for 10 minutes.
Guess what, 10 minutes after I was treated, my brother got stung.
A kid got stung in his face, he was about 4. Poor child.
I paddled into a swarm and it just feels like your skin is really burnt stinging all over so not that bad but 30 minutes later, my glands under my arms went mental
I think that hurt a-lot for them people. I feel so sorry about that.
