The craze that has taken over the London dating scene has arrived in our very own Bondi Beach. Every Saturday night Singles Safari Suppers are held all over the land, with 9 intrepid Safari Explorers (3 groups of 3) setting out in search of good food, great company and maybe even the chance of meeting someone special, all in their own suburb. Awaiting them are 9 Safari Hosts (3 groups of 3) of the opposite sex in separate locations in the same suburb, ready to serve the Explorers a 3 course meal (the menu theme varies each week). Safari Hosts stay right where they are as a different set of 3 Explorers join them for starter, main and dessert. At the end of the evening Safari Explorers and Hosts all meet up at a local bar to discuss the nights shenanigans and pick up the conversation where it left off. A typical night on Safari! 6.45pm – Safari Hosts get ready to welcome their Explorers 6.50pm – Safari Explorers arrive at their first location, bottle of wine in hand. 7.00pm – Starters are served. Enthralling conversation ensues. 7.45pm – Explorers move on to the Second Safari Hosts (always less then 10 minutes away) 8pm – Main courses are served. 8.45pm – Explorers move on to the Third Safari Hosts 9pm – Desserts are served…..yum yum 9.45pm – All Explorers and Hosts meet up at a local watering hole less than 10 minutes away. Each week Safari Hosts will be given a theme to follow for their meal Explorers provide the drinks, Hosts provide the food!
